did you know that there were two guys who got the nobel prize for something they didnt even discover
guy A and B are theorising about the cosmic microwave background, that the universe was once so hot and dense that it glowed white and due to the doppler effect and the expanding universe that white light would be reaching earth as microwaves.
meanwhile guys C and D are using a sensitive microwave deetector and they keep getting consistent background noise they cant explain, no matter what they do, when they take readings, or how they try to fix the machine, they keep getting these weird readings. when guys C and D heard abt guys A and Bs theory they go HEY THATS WHAT WE FOUND and then THEY got the nobel prize even tho they had NO IDEA what they were doing.
